Five tips: for arranging home swap accommodation

Home swapping is a great way to cut your travel costs by enjoying free holiday accommodation. Below are five tips to be a successful home swapper. 

1. Start contacting: Don't wait to be contacted; browse offers and start contacting members to discuss a possible swap. 
2. Add photos: There's no need to add dozens of photos but do make sure to add a selection of well lit photos that show your home at its best as soon as possible.
3. Flexibility: Being flexible with travel dates and destinations is a real plus and can lead to some fantastic travel discoveries.
4. Communication: Make sure you discuss all details with your potential home swap partner. Communication is key to successful home swapping.
5. Reply to all: be polite and reply to all enquiries you receive even if just to say "Thank you but the offer is not what I'm looking for at this time".
